Daryna’s conceptual work turns familiar things into art objects that hold the tension between what a thing is and what it only appears to be. Trompe l'oeil is the vehicle. Each piece is built for the wall and printed large, and meant to be lived with.

Years working closely with brands taught Daryna the discipline of the deliverable: how a single idea has to live across a different placements, each shaped for where it will be seen. A product finding its place in Daryna's world - carried through concept, styling, and image until it becomes an experience told in her own voice.

For twelve years working on commercial projects Daryna has built the kind of images that make a product feel inevitable. She strategizes, directs, briefs, and produces at a pace most photographers never encounter. She holds the brand's goals and her own point of view in the same frame. LVMH-certified, fluent in prestige beauty, she treats every asset as answerable to a brand's DNA. It is commercial work held to a fine artist's standard.

Daryna Barykina is a Jacksonville, Florida–based conceptual artist, creative director and producer of artist-led brand collaborations.
Her fine-art practice explores time, memory, beauty, and transformation through layered botanical still-life photography and trompe l’oeil techniques.
She also creates artist-led visual campaigns for food, beverage, spirits, home design, and travel brands to develop distinctive visual worlds that connect product, story, atmosphere, and cultural meaning.
Daryna works worldwide on commissioned artwork, creative direction, and full-service visual production.
