Case Study: L'Oreal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy Finalist Promo Shoot
Objective: In collaboration with L’Oreal teams in New York and Paris, the goal was to plan and produce a video and photo shoot for Erica Keelen, the contestant representing the USA in the global arena of the Style & Color Trophy. The aim was to create video footage to be used as part of the Run Le Hair Show: the New Web Series from L’Oréal Professionnel Paris with a viewership of over 2 million views on YouTube.

Responsibilities:
Collaborated with L’Oreal teams in New York and Paris to plan and execute the shoot.
Communicated with the Paris team live via Zoom to ensure alignment and coordination.
Hosted and worked under the supervision of the New York team in Jacksonville, FL.
Managed budgeting for the project to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Set up photo and video lighting as well as sound to ensure high-quality production.
Hired and managed a team of artists including a makeup artist and a wardrobe stylist.
Deliverables:
Comprehensive video footage, including b-roll of the hair color process.
Interview footage with the artists.
All model motion clips.
11 images: 8 before-after shots, 2 model & artist images, and 1 model’s final look.
Results:
Successfully produced high-quality visual content that contributed to Erica Keelen’s presentation in the global arena of the Style & Color Trophy.
Demonstrated strong project management and communication skills by effectively coordinating with international teams and managing on-site production.
Delivered all required assets on time, ensuring seamless integration into the L’Oreal marketing and promotional efforts.
Photos and video footage were effectively used to promote the competition on social media platforms, increasing visibility and engagement.
